Getting Started (First Time)
Receive Invitation: Look for an email from your law firm inviting you to the secure portal.
Click the Link: Click the "Open secure portal" button in the email (or download the "Clio for Clients" app if on mobile).
Confirm Email: Enter the email address your lawyer uses for you and confirm it when prompted by a follow-up email from Clio.
Log In: Your first login uses a one-time "magic link" sent to your email; subsequent logins use the same method or the app.
Accessing the Portal
Web: Go to clients.clio.com on any web browser.
Mobile: Download the "Clio for Clients" app (iOS or Android)
Why We Use Clio For Clients
Secure Messaging: Send private messages and documents to your lawyer directly through the portal or app.
Document Sharing: View files your lawyer shares and upload your own documents securely, often into designated folders.
Invoices & Payments: See billing details, view invoices, and potentially make payments online.
Calendar: Check upcoming appointments and court dates related to your case.
Mobile App: Offers push notifications and biometric login (FaceID/fingerprint) for convenience and security.
